Path Analyzer Pro Pro monitors the network and alerts you of any changes that you have missed. It allows you to track multiple paths, scan multiple hosts, and get a full overview of the path and your network. It provides information regarding paths, traceroute targets, traceroute length, and DNS resolution.
Path Analyzer Pro is available for both Windows and Mac OS X. It provides advanced functions such as shared IP, which allows you to find the IP addresses of other computers connected to the same network, and network tool API, which has a number of utilities such as LAN-to-WAN, LAN-to-LAN, and host vulnerability scan.
Path Analyzer Pro Pro provides two parts of the Traceroute information in the diagram. These parts allow you to see the path taken and how many hops were taken to reach a destination. It also has a direct line connection which shows the path taken from the destination to the source. The tool also provides a ping utility that will time stamp and track the server and you can use a trace flag to identify servers that are susceptible to hacking. A more significant feature with Path Analyzer Pro Pro is that it lets you set up alerts, which allows you to specify when an alert should be triggered. The alerts can be set up when a path changes, when a device logs off or on, or to a certain IP address or MAC address.
Path Analyzer Pro runs on both Mac and Windows. There are other tools that have a slightly different interface from the one shown above, but the basic function is the same. The process of using Path Analyzer Pro is fairly easy, and the tools are well laid out for ease of use.
